The underwater housing VXF1 is a 10 meter depth housing for the Canon XF100 and Canon XF105 digital camcorders as well as the Sony PXW-X70 XDCAM. Specifically constructed for these camcorders the VXF1 housing is manufactured from double laminated PVC and has an integrated, optically neutral flat glass port.
The VXF1 underwater housing is not only perfect for snorkeling or shallow diving but also sandy, dusty, humid or foul weather conditions. This housing will give your camera the best possible protection while being fully operable.
It has a pair of non-corrosive and seawater resistant clamping rails which fit together for perfect sealing. They tighten by means of knurled thumb screw knobs.
The straps at the bottom allow weights to be attached for perfect buoyancy under water. Either chose normal dive weights or the weights we offer as accessories.
Designed specifically for "prosumer" style digital camcorders, the ewa-marine VXF1 underwater housing is manufactured from our special, double laminated PVC and has an integrated, optically neutral flat glass as a front port. With this housing you will receive a set of adapters that fit the filter threads of the most popular lenses on the market today. By means of this adapter the camera is then docked into the housings front port, ensuring that the lens remains parallel and centered behind the front of the lens. Just as if it were a clear, neutral optical filter.
To fixate the right hand near the power button and zoom switch, the housing has an adjustable wrist strap and an ergonomically positioned "Finger" to position the index finger near the power switch.
It has a pair of non-corrosive and seawater resistant clamping rails which fit together for perfect sealing.They tighten by means of three screw knobs. There is also the practical, adjustable carry strap on the clamping rail.
